Content standards

Made for Replay creates personal songs and animated videos to celebrate the people in your life: birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, milestones, and tributes. To keep every order something we’re proud to make, we hold the briefs we accept to a few simple standards.

What we love to create

Heartfelt, celebratory, and personal songs: gratitude, love, family, friendship, accomplishments, and remembrance. The more real and specific the brief, the better the song.

What we will not create

We will decline or cancel any order whose brief asks for:

• Sexual, explicit, or otherwise immodest content.
• Hateful, harassing, or demeaning content toward any person or group, including slurs.
• Content that threatens, glorifies, or incites violence or self-harm.
• Content promoting illegal activity, or content involving minors in any inappropriate way.
• Defamatory content, or content that impersonates or targets a real person without their involvement.
• Content that infringes someone else’s copyright or trademark.

How this works

When you submit a brief, you confirm it follows these standards. We screen submissions and review every piece before delivery. If a brief falls outside these standards, we will not produce it, and any payment already taken is refunded in full. You are never charged for something we decline to make.

After delivery

Made for Replay owns the custom song, recording, arrangement, and animated video we create. After payment and approval, you receive a license to use the delivered files for personal, non-commercial celebration: download them, save them, privately share them with family and friends, and play them at personal events.

Commercial use, monetized posts, resale, paid advertising, broadcast, sublicensing, sampling, or claiming ownership of the underlying work requires written permission from Made for Replay. The full license language is in our order terms.
